I’ve also made video at some point in another post, scanning through frequencies like a madman and wasn’t able to crash the device. Given - i didn’t crank the gain up all the wy though. To this day it remains a mystery why some devices seem to crash when scanning wildly.
At this point i would say it’s part of the Tracker Lore 
But good to hear that Polyend is helping you out
