Freezing while scrolling through radio frequencies still an issue

Bug Description

When I open the sample recorder and scan through radio frequencies, after a short while the unit freezes.
This is similar to the previous recorded bug for firmware 1.6.0, but this time it even happens in the 1.8.0 firmware that was supposed to fix the bug.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Open sample recorder
  2. Choose Radio
  3. Use jog wheel to scan frequencies
  4. After a while or when reaching the 100MHz + area the unit freezes.

Yes, here too.
Radio still freezes,
1.8 did not fix the issue.

@obbekjaer76 Thank you for reaching out about this. We are sorry you are still experiencing issues with the radio. It was supposed to be amended with the last 1.8.0 firmware, but we have to investigate.
We will do our best to resolve it and notify you when it’s ready.

Me too! Thanks for reporting, as I just got my Tracker and I’m only just starting to learn to use it. I had the same experience, Tracker froze (twice) while scanning, both times > 100 MHz.

Hi new Tracker arrived, same freeze problem scanning radio stations, until I set the zone to US, which fixed it so far. It arrived set to Europe. Hope this helps.

How did you change the zone? I don’t see it in the Radio or the Config.

Config → General → Radio Region (the first option in the list)
