Freeze/glitch when changing from perform to pattern while using transport control

When toggling back to pattern mode from perform mode, the pattern blinks red and glitches and/or freezes and shuts down if i stop it from my polyend play, which is my main transport control for start/stop. It still retains any progress made to session before the freeze after rebooting

To reproduce, simply

  1. play a pattern in pattern mode (i control transport through midi with my play)
  2. Enter perform mode
  3. Go back to pattern mode
  4. Hit stop on my transport controller (polyend play)
  5. You will then see the flashing red pattern indicator at the bottom left.
  6. It will then glitch right away and usually then also freeze after which i have to reopen tge project i was on before the freeze.

Occurance - It happens every time. I have reproduced several times
