I’m seriously looking at the Play+, but mileage seems to vary widely in past versions in terms of people experiencing bugs (some seem to think it’s fine, others say it’s unusable). Current owners, has the new firmware made a noticeable difference in its stability/bugginess?

The last couple weeks i’ve created a 15 minute piece on the latest firmware (Play+) for a dance performance that will be performed today at an art exhibit.
It will be synced via an external clock that syncs the Play and Cardinal (open-source VCV Rack) to create the final piece.
Have not run into any issues.
But for transparency - since i’m a moderator in this forum, i hope other members of the community will chime in for unafilliated opinions that you may trust more

On the other end of the spectrum from someone who just messes around in his basement and has no company affiliation, no issues for me.

Im running 1.2 on my play+ and I also haven’t run into any issue with it.
TBH I don’t usually run into problems as many problems as people does, I don’t play shows anymore, but still… For my use it’s pretty solid and I have a home studio with polyend synth and play +, a syntakt, electric guitar, piano and ableton live which should be very prone to issues… but works perfectly (Although I must recognize I use the syntakt as master tempo, but still…)
