The current EQ options on the Tracker are functional but limited, especially when it comes to shaping sounds with precision. I’d love to see expanded EQ capabilities—specifically Parametric EQ and Shelving EQ—added to the device.
These additions would unlock deeper sound design and mixing potential directly on the Tracker, reducing reliance on external processing. Even a simplified 2-band parametric EQ or optional shelving filter per track would be a massive upgrade.
I understand the Tracker is optimized for low-power performance and memory efficiency, so this request is made with respect to those constraints. If full parametric control isn’t feasible, perhaps a lightweight implementation with fixed Q values or selectable frequency bands could strike a balance between flexibility and resource usage.
This would be especially useful for:
-
Taming harsh frequencies in samples
-
Boosting low-end without muddying the mix
-
Creating more dynamic and polished arrangements within the Tracker itself
