Feature Request: Insert Characters Within Existing Preset Names

What is the problem?

When editing a preset name, there is currently no way to move the cursor into the middle of the existing text and insert a new character. To make a small correction or add a character, the user has to delete characters backward from the end of the name until reaching the point where the change is needed, then re-enter the remaining characters.

I’d like to request an Insert mode on the preset naming screen.

For example, there could be an Insert icon or toggle on the character-selection page (perhaps on the bottom line near the spacebar?). Once Insert mode is activated, the user could move the cursor to any position within the existing preset name, click to place the cursor there, and insert one or more characters without deleting the text that follows.

This would make preset renaming much faster and much less frustrating, especially for small typo corrections or minor naming changes.

What should this feature achieve?

This would allow simple edits to update / change names without needing to delete names.

Are there any workarounds?

Only to delete from the end of the name, going backwards, until the “insert / update” point is reached and then re-entering the full name.

Several modern effects units already allow cursor-based preset renaming, including insertion and deletion within the existing name. That kind of editing is much faster than forcing the user to backspace from the end and retype the remainder of the name.
