Exclude tracks from sidechain limiter

When using the limiter, allow the user to select which tracks should be affected.

What is the problem?

When using the sidechaining option with the limiter, it is not possible to exclude individual tracks from the effect. In practice though this often desirable (e.g. not every sound should duck away from the kick).

What do you want to achieve?

An option in the FX settings menu which allows the user to select which tracks should be affected by the sidechain limiter.

Are there any workarounds?

No.

Edited to add a reference to the Novation Circuit Tracks. It has an interesting per track sidechain implementation - Circuit Tracks - Mixer, FX & Sidechain // Novation - YouTube

Couldn’t find any other grooveboxes that have straightforward per track sidechain, despite being an essential part of a lot of electronic music.

If there was an LFO it could be done like on the Digitakt or Octatrack, but it seems like a hassle to setup that way from the videos I skimmed.
