What is the problem?
So, My tracker is frozen at boot time again. Boot progress is shown as a spot, I.e. the very first part of the progress bar. It’s because I opened Perc, and pressed the button for a preset, back to something else then preset again. Too quick for the machine to process.
But what it means is that I have to go back to the pc with the sd card and delete the hidden prefs file, to have a fresh reboot. I will lose my project, but ok.
Which brings me to the wish. Why can’t we have an option on boot to just delete the prefs file so that although we lose the current project, we can start the Tracker plus with a key combo. It defeats the object having to go to a computer to fix the device, as many of us, myself included, bought the thing to step away from pcs.
What should this feature achieve?
Ability to unlock the Tracker+ without having to boot a pesky pc.
Are there any workarounds?
Not without having to go to a pc.

NB Edited. Deleting the workspace folder didn’t unlock the Tracker+. However, deleting the prefs file did. I didn’t test whether the workspace folder would survive a prefs removal, but best practice would be delete both…
