Does Tracker/Tracker+ recognise slice/markers?

I’m away from my T+ at the moment but I was wondering if you can pre-prepare a sample chain in an external editor (adding cue/markers) and Tracker will use these as slice points when loading the sample?

If you mean regular cue points / markers that sample editors can place? Then no. It does not recognize these.

Currently the following tool exists, which was created by @jaap.roes:

Which works pretty well for mono samples, but not stereo.

I’m working on a new version that should support stereo as well (amongst other things), hopefully i’ll be able to share some news on that soon:laughing: .

You can also find other helpful tools under the Scene > Tools category.

I was checking that out earlier today. Will give it a test on the PT+ later when I’m home.

I’ve also been in contact with the guy who makes Digichain to see if adding .pti output to his tool would be a relatively simple job. IMHO his chain editor is superb and he’s very actively developing it.

I will also add a feature request as PT should definitely have the ability to load samples with cue points and translate them.

I think you could do that on an Akai S2000!
