heres one with a finger detent and knurled edge and larger grip area for cheap. its great in use and is the right size. you need the d-axis version.

yeah this knob really is nice… especially with the encoder repair kit and installing weights inside the knob! i also filled the knob with epoxy so it feels like super quality.
but i had to sand the inside completely flat with this tool i made. i also sanded the knob stabilizer to fine tune the fit. i added another wax paper layer to the slippery plastic washer-bearing to make it more slippery. this has a slight momentum and it will not bend no matter how hard you press. its definitely in better than new condition now with the proper design to keep lateral forces off the encoder. this should last a long time! and the knurled side is just tactile as you need on a control knob. no slipping. finger indent works nice too.
