Current tempo indicated by the tempo LED even when Sequencer is not running

What is the problem?

As many effects (e.g. delays) are tempo based as well in ‘stop mode’ without the sequencer running, it would be helpful to see the tempo flashing using the LED above the ‘tap tempo’ footswitch as it is already used when the sequencer is running.
At the moment the actual tempo is not indicated without pressing any button or footswitch while the dedicated LED is unused.

What should this feature achieve?

To be able to check visually if the effect tempo even in ‘stop mode’ is fitting the music tempo you wonna play to.

Are there any workarounds?

Not really. The only option now is to start the sequencer, check visually and stop the sequencer again. But presets can sound very different in ‘stop moder’ and ‘seqencer mode’.

yes.

And if the MESS is receiving midi clock, it should show that tempo , and the tempo light should flash in that tempo - i think regardless of whether the Play footswitch is pressed or not.

that way, we know all the internal time-based effects are sync’d even if the the sequencers are not engaged.
