Crossfade Loops / Loop-points

There should be a possibility to crossfade loops.

What is the problem?

When you loop a part of a sample, you need to find a “0” position for setting the loop, otherwise it will click. If there was a crossfade before and after the marker, the loop in and loop out could be faded, ergo you’d have a smooth loop.

What do you want to achieve?

Have a smooth loop for pads for example.

Are there any workarounds?

No

Look at Sample programs like Wavelab, Soundforge etc.
The Granular Engine does something similar to it’s grain.

I’ve taken the liberty to update some of the wording. I hope that’s ok

@here Thanks for your wish. It’s now ready for voting

Any update on this? Looping samples is useless unless you can crossfade. Endlessly searching for zero crossings and being unable to find them is very annoying and takes the fun out of using the Tracker. Only solution I’ve found is using a £5 sampler that has this feature on my phone then recording back into Tracker.
