Convert Note selection with Arp/Chord FX to actual notes in a pattern

What is the problem?

To use an arpeggiator it takes up both effect lanes by using arp and chord effects

What do you want to achieve?

An option to select a range of a track containing arp and chord effects and convert/render these down as just note data freeing up the fx lanes, so we can use arp/chord fx as a quick way to generate ideas but then render these and be able to use fx on the finished note data, eg probability/velocity etc

Are there any workarounds?

If I was better at music theory I could enter notes/timing manually!

Hey @thomasdavidbradley , this is actually a pretty neat idea. I’ve cleaned up your wish a little so it’s easier to read. Hope that is still ok.

Thanks - I think it might be a non starter as I have since had a thought about it and I think some of the arp speeds go quicker than the note division per step as it is unless maybe you use a ratchet but then you can’t get the note progression as that latches one note. :persevere:

Yes, that sounds cool!

@here Thanks for your wish. It’s now ready for voting
