That’s unfortunate. The chance is advertised as one of the key features of the device that differentiates it from other grooveboxes. It was mentioned by the head of software development in an interview as his favourite feature. The official site has a dedicated article with tips on how to use the feature.
Yet it feels incomplete without the ablity to tame randomness. If the wish gets implemeneted, I’m going to use chance/action on almost every single step.

Same here. I think that this function is unfinished and it really is the key feature.
I think Random Volume chance action wasn’t implemented because it would produce too weird results. But if the action range feature was there, Random Volume action would make much sense for humanizing melodic parts and percussion hits.
