It is common on grid cotrollers to have a guitar or 4ths layout. This makes the layout familliar to players with guitar and/or bass experience.
On the current synth firmware this is not possible on the all pad layouts (blue, yellow, purple) as you cannot adjust their wrapping.
On the combined layouts you can solve this by adjusting the wrap parameter.
What should this feature achieve?
It would make the synth even more playable in the all pads layouts.
Are there any workarounds?
You can only use the wrap parameter on smaller partial grids making the playing range very limited if you want to play over a few octaves.

Guitar and/or 4ths layout is found on most grid controllers, like linnstruments, launchpads, medusa. (And on every guitar and bass)
You can already do it for one voice spread over two blocks with the same preset up to the ninth fret. I think that’s the closest you can get. (I don’t know whether it’s a technical thing or not but they don’t seem to like layouts that have different pads playing the same note in the same block.)
I only considered using one synth preset twice. I hadn’t really thought about anything for the third block since it wasn’t going to be of much use. I don’t like trying to use guitar type layouts on pads myself so I didn’t think more about it - but I can see the point of it. I’d prefer using very different types of layouts but they are ones that no one is likely to even consider (except me!).
