What is the problem?
The Tracker Mini currently has no way to input or perform chords directly in real time. While a recent update added a Note Mode for single-note performance and input, there is no equivalent option for chords. This forces users to either sequence every note of a chord manually (time-consuming and limiting for quick harmonic work) or rely on external gear/DAWs, breaking the creative flow.
What should this feature achieve?
Add a dedicated Chord Mode where a single pad or key press triggers a chord.
Allow users to select from built-in chord sets (major, minor, seventh, jazz, pop, etc.).
Let users create and save custom chord sets for their own progressions.
Enable chord playback in real time for both live performance and quick input into patterns.
Provide options for inversions, voicing, and simple variations (e.g. strum timing or velocity differences).
Keep workflow seamless by integrating into the existing Note Mode structure.
Are there any workarounds?
Manually programming chords in the tracker lanes.
Using external MIDI chord devices or DAW chord packs routed into the Tracker.
These are functional but slow, clunky, and not integrated.
