It was suggested to make a separate wish for this, but let’s keep in mind that it is meant to be used with these wished features:
If you want this feature implemented, please vote for the two wishes above as well.
What is the problem?
When it comes to randomization, it’s important to allow the player to predetermine chances. So, if you have a project with, let’s say, 15 patterns, you’ll probably don’t want to play all of them randomly. Also, there are high chances you want some patterns or variation more often than others.
What do you want to achieve?
The ability to set a chance for each pattern or variation to be played (including 0%).
Are there any workarounds?
It’s not even a feature yet.
Any links to related discussions?
This feature could be a complement of Allow patterns to play in certain orders and certain times - Song Mode . You could combine both strict and random order.
Any references to other products?

Moving this text to the comments to keep the wish simple.
ambivalence:
For example, imagine a player has 8 already made variations and there’s a need to play some of them randomly (all, except the 8th, let’s say). They press 1-7 pads one time and now they have the same chances to be played (1:1:1:1:1:1:1:0). Moreover, if there’s a need for some pattern to be played 3 times less frequently, player presses all the other pads 3 times instead of 1. This won’t make the device play for you by itself, but player could utilize these randomization features exactly how it’s needed in a controllable way. If these randomization settings could be saved within a pattern, switching between them (patterns) could give a whole new prospect of using the device. Keep in mind these pre-made variations could be sculpted very differently, so no random algorithm in the device will give you the same result. For example, it could be different sets of samples, so triggering another variation would result of some sort of muting one instrument and introducing another.
The same may be applied to patterns to play them in random order with different weights. And it would be another an awesome feature here to be able to chain some variations or patterns (kinda this wish ) to each other, so if the chained one was triggered, it continues to play in pre-defined order, and when the chain is over, the random cycle starts all over again. This will provide both random and compositional structure, so your performance won’t be completely out of hands and remain predictable at times.
