Can I charge tracker mini with this power adapter?

Hello, I have the adapter on my phone always with me, and I wondering if it serves to charge tracker mini. I don’t want to destroy my mini so I need to be totally sure about charging with this adapter

  • it has fast charge. I don’t really know if the adapter has fast charge or the phone has fast charge.

I think you should just give it at try. Worst case, it doesn’t work because the charging negotiation between your Mini and the adapter fails. But in the end it’s all USB charging and nothing should be destroyed.

Thank you very much. Maybe I need a confirmation from Polyend,I don’t know exactly what’s going to happen and I need to be totally sure not to fry my mini

Technically it’s the phone that has fast charge and the adapter just supports drawing more power.

You can safely use a fast-charging phone charger as long as it is rated for 5V output and provides at least 1A of current. Which it seems this particular adapter does.

The device will only draw the amount of power it needs, so even if the charger is capable of delivering more, the Tracker will still just use the required 5W.
