Just noticed this: if I save a session, then do some live recordig with the Play plus built in keyboard, then save the project, then change pattern… the “session cleared” pops out.
When I go back to the recorded pattern, what I ve made is missing. Also if I try to load the project again. Of course without saving again…
But, if I dont use the save session utility , there’s no issue of data loss.
Its like the save session blocks the ability of saving all the work in the project file.
Is this a bug or part of the design / logic ?
Sorry for the rough english, Im a bit shot of time now
I think a rephrasing would be helpful, at least to me You talk about saving several times, but it’s unclear whether you are talking about the the Save button or the Save Project functionality from the menu (or a mix of both). If you could at least update to clarify this, every time you mention saving.
I experimented with the play a bit more, and I think I foud an issue here. It wasn’t an issue of the saving session function. These are the steps:
Select a sample.
Use the live record with a selected empty track.
Change the pattern.
Go back to the previous pattern and voilà, the recorded track is empty again.
If the track has a previous step recorded, this not happens.
Heres a video showing the steps and the result.
Im almost sure its a bug, but I’ll wait your feedback to post a report. I find it strange that nobody noticed it before. It happens in any project, is not an isolated problem.
