Bug - changing beat on a saved beat overrides it immediatly

Yesterday I was playing around with the Step and found a bug when selecting beats on a saved patch.

Firmware version 1.0.1

Steps to reproduce:

  1. create or switch to a saved drum patch
  2. change beat with the beat knob
  3. don’t save and switch to another patch
  4. switch back to the patch selected in step 1
  5. saved patch is overridden with selected beat (step 2)

Is there a setting to prevent overriding saved patches or can this bug be fixed (firmware)?

Thanks! This will work as a workaround.

Would be nice to turn off auto-save globally → only save when manually triggered.
