Birch samples - kit loading error

The “Birch” samples kit available for free download causes a kit loading error for the STEP device. The file hierarchy seems to be incorrect in the provided files. Each KIT for STEP requires a directory structure with NAME OF KIT…..VARIATION NUMBER ……. TRACK 1,2,3,4 etc. The variation number requires a FOLDER and was missing from the download

To fix it, I created a sub-directory named “1” for each individual kit so the kit samples can be properly loaded. For example,

was corrected to:

Jazz Kit     
         1                     [new sub-directory '1' created]
            Track 1
            Track 2
            Track 3
            Track 4

Sorry you had this issue. The problem is each subkit would have needed to be placed in the kit folder. The download has been updated to be simpler to load on the Step, now only the “Birch” folder needs to be placed in the kits folder.
