Beat slice starts on C2 but lowest default middle C is C3

Bug Description

Using beat slice to chop up sample automatically associates each slice with step starting at C2. The lowest Middle-C is C3. My expectation is that I should be able to set the default octave to whatever I want

1. Open the Settings menu and go to the midi controls, select middle C

Even more confusing, C2 does not show up as an option in the note keyboard that is visible when holding the note key. Shouldn’t the samples and steps be associated with whatever the middle -C option is?

Hi @tuesday.clark Thanks for your report, I’m sorry you’re having issues with Mini.
However, this particular case is by current product design: When using a Beat Sliced
instrument, the first slice played is by design assigned as C2, and it’s not associated with the middle C settings.
