If panning is set to center (0), sound only comes out of the right side.
If panning is set to -100, sound only from the left side.
If panning is set to 100, sound comes from both sides but it’s mono.
If I panning is set to -50, it seems like equal, stereo audio.
This is true with headphones as well as every cable I tried.
What could be wrong?
I few questions as i tested it and was not able to reproduce:
Wich engine are you refering to? Instruments have panning from -50 (left) to 50 (right) 0 being center. Synth engine has -100 (left) to 100 (right) 0 being center.
Wich sample are you using if any (stereo or mono) or wich synth engine and wich patch?
I tried it it with both synths and samples, panning all the way right and all the way left with the same results. It’s strange though. If I put ping-pong delay on, I can hear the echo bounce from side to side no matter how I have it panned so it seems like the channels themselves work ok.
Same results using stereo or mono samples and every patch I tried.
Also, when I add an instrument and set Panning=0 and then do a “From-To” Fx fill of P 50 to P -50 the effect works - the sound travels from one speaker to the other as expected. But when I delete the Fx column. it goes back to just coming from one side.
All projects old and new.
I did a refresh with new firmware as well as a pin reset.
There’s another thing that just started happening around the same time. I have an audio cable running from the line out and then splitting into two 1/4” male ends going into a little mixer. This had been working great until the panning issue started. Now, if I have the audio cable plugged into the Tracker line out and have a powered USB C cable plugged into the Tracker without the Tracker being turned on, a loud buzzing happens. Once the Tracker is powered on it goes away completely.
Thanks for taking the time and sorry, that you still having troubles.
That sounds more like a hardware fault than a software bug then.

Hey man. Welcome to backstage. You’ll see you’re in really good hands when members like @Patrick jump in looking to help out.
I would go ahead with the suggestion of contacting Polyend support at support@polyend.com but was curious to know what those other cables you applied and had the same results.
