@pandigital you mentioned in another topic that this happens when you switch patches? Or is it when you tweak the synth parameters?
Its happened doing both of these

Btw, the reason why i’m asking is this:
Bug Description
When using the Play+ with USB Audio, changing/previewing synth patches can lead to corrupted / distorted audio on the Play+ 's Audio Out.
Reproduction Steps
Use the Play+ as a Audio Input Device in your DAW (tested with Ableton and Bitwig)
Route any of the synth channels to your DAW
Use the Play+ as the Audio Output Device and connect your headphones to the Out of the Play+
Create a new Project on the Play+
Create a single synth track with some notes
Go to synths and choose ACD…
If this occured after changing patches, then that would be the reason why.
Hence why i’m curious if it happens when you only edit patches or only after changing predefined patches.
Because once you end up in this state, the only thing that can fix it at the moment is to disconnect/reconnecting the Play.
Thanks @Sandroid
Yes that sounds like the same symptoms, but I didn’t have headphones connected, and I did see this while changing patches, and I did have to reconnect.
Alright cool, then i’ll close this as a duplicate. The issue has already been logged by Polyend and hopefully we’ll see a fix soon
Hope that’s ok with you
