Hi, I often record my projects from the Tracker + to logic. A problem I get is that the PERC drum synth has all its sounds assigned to one output. Then I need to chop the audiofile from the PERC up to separate kick from snare as an example, so I can treat the different sounds. This happens even if I record kick on one track and snare on another track in the tracker - stil one output. Is there a solution to this?
Hi @danielorkelse! I don’t think there really is a way to split the synth tracks up any further than the three already given. A workaround for this would be to sample each of the PERC drum hits and then build the beat on the audio side or within logic.

hey @danielorkelse, sadly not really no.
PERC runs paraphonically. So it’s one voice, which is why it turns out to be one track/channel.
There’s two ways you could work around it:
- Either use separate tracks for each drum part, this way you can record it out to Logic, by muting the other tracks when required.
- Or change the volume for each part in the Mixer section of the drum synth patch when wanting to record it out to Logic.
I personally would probably use the second approach as it won’t impact sequencing and it’s easy to revert once you are done with recording.
