I as well as many other folks appreciate rhythm, pace, structure, chaos, heartfelt emotion-MUSIC (whatever that is to one’s self). Via making it on hardware.
And to that in this niche hobby we all share, Polyend exists. I for one am grateful that Polyend is Polyend. Here is to spark some goodness here, with some reference.
Long time drummer, own a fair amount of synth/groovebox/midi gear (and yes I also have a Casio SK-1 my grandparents bought for me late 80’s-farts and burps-HA!). I understand concepts far greater than I can actually get out of my gear. Simply a hobbyist yet none the less a personal passion. I am trying to remind myself to not take it too seriously. I then make more music more often and have more fun. Working on better brain/body idea/reality sync. I like hardware and understanding it at a high level and I do geak out on hardware (engineering) but nothing is better than the ultimate goal of being in the ray of light moment with that sound you want and/or discover by accident. Connecting with gear. Yes All of the that please. The connection of hardware and what you get from it (how you hear it and feel about it).
I recently acquired a tracker + and I like it so very much. It helps me with dopamine and elevates my mood as I fight depression. (I see the good you find what you are looking for but the world fights against that). Connect and make music. Love laugh and hug more. If you are happy sad angry whatever still just make music whenever.
The Tracker is an inspiration like no other.

I hope you’re doing well. I have a lot of hardware machines to make music and always end making it with Polyend. Im so extremely happy to see grow this company… I’ve found my machines to make music (tracker mini and Play+) after years searching. I’ve had elektron, maschine, and many others but nothing like polyend boxes. They are so so well designed that a lot of times I don’t understand the critics.
This is a company that have the courage to see the future of the music and release new products that are different and not recycling the same idea all the time. Polyend right now are quality (not one product has failed to me, except some extremely rare bugs) and innovation. Is one of the best music companies out there. I wish you the best PE team!.
And no, I’m not a fanboy. It’s just that their products works for me. In a manner that no other machine have worked. I don’t know why but tracker and Play+ are my machines, I always came back to make music with them.

I’m also glad you found - like many of us - a safespace in creating music. There’s nothing like it. Atleast to me. The peace and soul-battery recharge i can derive from it, is unlike anything else.

I recently finished what might be the closest I’ve ever come to my dream rig, and Polyend is at it’s core. I use a Tracker mini as my main compositional medium and sound design toolbox, as well as using a second one to load projects filled with instruments and play along with my other gear. It’s the perfect size for making music when the moment comes and never leaves me wanting for more. I am excited to be a part of it’s journey and have it as a part of mine. I don’t think, for all the software and midi devices I’ve tried to work with over the years, that I’ve ever had something that lets me tap directly into that flow as often, and precise, as the Tracker workflow.
