What is the problem?
Currently, the “Sequence” and “Arp” parameters cannot be assigned to Macro knobs or controlled via Aftertouch/Pressure macros. This limits the ability to perform or automate these parameters dynamically during live sets or expressive sessions, reducing creative flexibility.
What should this feature achieve?
This feature would allow users to map the “Sequence” and “Arp” parameters to Macro knobs or Aftertouch/Pressure inputs. By doing so, performers could manipulate these parameters in real time, enabling expressive changes to arpeggios and sequence variations without diving into menus. This would greatly enhance performance and sound design capabilities, especially in live contexts.
Are there any workarounds?
It’s possible to manually edit the Sequence and Arp parameters per instrument, but only one at a time. If you’re working with multiple instruments, there’s no way to adjust/modulate all three simultaneously (like using Aftertouch would do, enhancing real-time performance flexibility).
