Aftertouch on the subsequent notes affects the first played notes

Bug Description

I’m not sure if this is a bug, but I haven’t found any prior reports about this behavior.

I have a patch with some aftertouch modifiers. If I press and hold a pad, without engaging aftertouch, and then press and hold another pad and engage aftertouch, upon releasing the second pad, the sound of the first pad will retain some of the aftertouch modifications.

The issue happens when either:

a) using a sequence
b) using a single-voice synth with no sequence
c) holding latched 2 pads on a 2 voice synth and then pressing another pad and using aftertouch on it. Or latching 3 pads on a 3 voice synth etc.

It does not seem to happen with arps no matter how many voices are used.

The easiest way to reproduce this is by using SHIFT to latch a pad and then playing another note with aftertouch.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. create an aftertouch macro, e.g. for filter cutoff or resonance
  2. limit the synth to one voice or add a sequence
  3. press a pad to trigger a note (you may latch it for convenience)
  4. press another pad and push it harder to activate aftertouch
  5. release the second pad
  6. notice that the sound of the first pad/note retained a certain level of aftertouch modifications

Occurrence / Frequency

Always
