Adjust pattern function key pages so copy/paste and pattern number are on the same page

What is the problem?

My workflow has me doing a lot of this:

  1. Make pattern 01
  2. Copy pattern 01 to new pattern 02 and adjust some things
  3. Copy pattern 01 to new pattern 03 and adjust some things

And so on.

Right now, I need to perform these steps:

  1. Make pattern 01
  2. Switch to the function keys page that has the Copy Pattern function.
  3. Switch back to the function keys page to that has the pattern number selector.
  4. Switch from Pattern 01 to Pattern 02.
  5. Switch to the function keys page that has the Paste Pattern function.

If these 3 functions were on the same page, then I’d have to flip pages a lot less.

What should this feature achieve?

Here’s the workflow I’d like:

  1. Make pattern 01
  2. Hit the Copy Pattern function
  3. From the same function keys page, switch to Pattern 02
  4. From the same function keys page, Paste Pattern.

Are there any workarounds?

Hi Jon,

If I remember correctly, you can switch patterns by hitting pattern and turning the jog wheel.
That should be much faster.
