What is the problem?

It is currently impossible to automatically change the voice bank of a synth when switching to a new song.

What should this feature achieve?

Adding MIDI cc0 would allow the user to quickly set the appropriate patch without having to remember where the patch is stored on the synth. This would allow the user to set and forget the patch used for the composition.

Are there any workarounds?

Write down the bank for each song or try to remember which bank that song is using, move all the necessary patches into 1 bank.

Why don’t you just configure one of the CC knobs to send CC0?

Because I want to use the current cc options as well. Changing banks on top of the existing cc options would add an additional layer of automation.
