Accurate Pitch Annotation for Samples in Polyend Play m

What is the problem?

Currently, all samples default to the note value of C4, which can create confusion and limitations for users working with varied pitch samples.

What should this feature achieve?

I would like to propose an enhancement to the Polyend Play and Play+, focusing on the need for accurate pitch annotation for samples. By allowing users to assign precise pitch annotations, such as A2 or any other note, you would enable a more seamless process.

Are there any workarounds?

No workarounds that I have come across.

As a potential solution, users could name their sample files according to the correct pitch, such as “bass-guitar_A2.wav.” This would then be recognized by the Polyend Play and pitched correctly.

Apparently I’m no good at writing concise and clear feature requests

Not at all, I voted for your feature request. I forgot that your post existed and made my own. I hope we get this feature. It would make life so much easier. Right now I am going through samples and individually pitching them to C4 which is such a pain. It’s too bad but maybe they are working on it. The Akai MPC 2000 had this feature and it was super helpful.
