Set the name of a pattern so that they can be more easily dishtinguishable.
What is the problem?
When changing patterns, the name that appears on screen is just “Pattern XX”.This information is of little help unless you remember exactly what happens on each pattern, which becomes more difficult the more patterns you have. In a live setting, it’d be much more useful to see names like “Song_name - Intro” for example.
What do you want to achieve?
Being able to set the name of a pattern so the user can have more info on what is playing. To add to this, it’d be really useful to be able to se a pattern’s name in advance.
Are there any workarounds?
Have all the patterns arranged so that they play sequentially in a live setting, which is a bit cumbersome since the user might’ve not had this in mind while creating the different patterns.
