What is the problem?
So many effects in the MESS would benefit of a good compression. Especially one placed in-between other effects.
After few weeks with this great tool, I regret this feature is not included, it could be a magnificent creative tool added to the sequencer.
What should this feature achieve?
The MESS is a great piece of gear 
The PRESS is a wonderfull end of chain compressor
And what if MESS was able to compress in a complementary way with the PRESS ?
After I’ve sent back the lovely Chroma Console for the MESS, the only feature I miss is the compressor inside the multieffect unit.
Sometimes we need a bit of compression before an OD or in many other creative situations.
The MESS would really benefit this feature, especially since a lot of musicians already have other pedals (like reverbs) that can be add to the MESS possibilities.
Everyone needs a compressor, but few know it. Let MESS be their PRESS. At least as a foretaste…

Chroma Console has 2 compressions, SWEETEN and SQUASH that are loved by many.
