I doubt they do. Most classic USB devices simply expect a supply that puts out a properly regulated 5V. They don’t put a lot of extra design into over-voltage protection.
I have a small collection of good quality 5V-only USB chargers. They are getting harder to find as Quick Charge has become much more broadly used.
