Tracker Mini high-pitched noise when sampling

Ah, okay. Tracker + has no internal mic, so its not in the sample recording.

Here is a quick n dirty recording. It may be not the same noise as you experienced. Just to proof the point, the noise floor changes with the screen brightness.
Test settings: master vol max 12db
Input mic hg gain at -inf, to not have additional noisefloor from line input.
headphones, power source doesnt matter, powerbank may be cleaner than a wall wart.

And how i experienced this few days ago:
Had set the input to line in, monitoring on and line in unmuted in the mixer. Late night in the studio, brightness to low, constant hum on the headphones. Wondered where the hack a ground hum is coming fromšŸ˜„ until i remembered, there was a screen brightness thing…
So, conclusion with inputs enabled, set the brightness to high.

Hi @solidtrax.nl , I’m sorry but I cannot hear anything in the recording you sent. There is nothing connected to your Mini, so I’m not sure what noise you’re referring to? Sorry if I missed something.

Unfortunately I get the same thing with my Tracker mini. There’s always a slight high pitch sound emitting from the device, regardless of whether I’m recording or have line input enabled. It gets slightly quieter when I have the screen brightness on high though. This high pitch sound unfortunately ruins all recordings from the device :frowning: Everything else is great, hopefully one day this is fixed though as it seems to be a common problem with the device I’ve found online

Same here. In my case only when recording with internal mic (screen brightness doesn’t do nothing). Signal is clean with line-in. Funny enough, when I am recording with internal mic and plug in something to line-in - the noise gets slightly reduced. Still unusable tho

I can record proper audio and video with example tomorrow if anyone is interested.

I would love to find solution to this as I really do love my Mini and that internal mic was one of main selling points to me. Right now I just carry on Zoom H6 with me
