Very strange, but I did not find a function for renaming the project.
The official manual says:
Although projects are auto-saved, it is always good practice to manually save a finished production. Maybe rename with ‘Save As’
Why should I make a copy of this project with a new name?
Maybe you could repost this as a wish?
I also didn’t find this option

Let this remain one of the sins of the developers.
I found this from the old Polyend Tracker forum, where the same was flagged:

Hello,
I think the tracker is missing a feature to put projects in subfolders… . I like to keep organized and it's pretty difficult at the moment by having every projects in the same folder.
Would love to have subfolders so we could do for example: bundled projects / artists projects / march projects / april projects / etc... etc...
Also being able to rename projects would be cool. Currently you can "save as" then change the name, then delete the older version but it's a lot of manipulations for something that could simply be available as an option on screen.
Thanks

I like to mention a work around, which I discovered with a project, that I was working on.
You can take-out the sd card and insert to the computer, here you can rename the project folder and the amended names will also be reflected for the folder on the Tracker.
