What is the problem?
When using Tracker+ and Synth together, I’m unable to play or record any of the parts I’m using without the first synth engine on Synth triggering simultaneously.
Gets annoying very quickly when using only these two together.
What should this feature achieve?
Basically I want the grid on Synth to act as if it were an external midi keyboard, and the Synth itself to act as a module.
The main goal is for the Synth’s grid acts as an external midi keyboard with scale and chord options.
The idea is the Synth then becomes the Polyend Tracker’s main keyboard, triggering one of the selected instrument/midi channel on the Tracker at a time (without sounding off any of Synths parts unless selected via the Tracker itself).
Eliminating the need to add another midi keyboard, and makes for a more integrated workflow.
I am aware of the midi utility, but seems like I’m forced to sacrifice one synth part on Synth (not ideal when one wants to use all 3 parts on Synth).
Better integration with the Synth and the Tracker would be a much needed workflow improvement.
Or have the midi utility or mode of operation, selectable independently and implemented in a way that doesn’t use up a synth engine slot on Polyend Synth.
Are there any workarounds?
Yes an external midi controller (taking up more room in my backpack). but I want to keep my setup minimal when going places.
Or just use the Trackers small keypads
