Polyend Play - How to make a melodyfill bass and chord pattern?

the beat fill, starts from the first line selected, so if you only select 1 or 2 rows, you will either get kick, or kick snare. Same for the melody, selecting 1 2 3 4 channels will load those. Didn’t really highlight it in the video but building the core melody on channel 1 and add flavor around it for channels 2 to 4.

its pretty advanced feature for the play, and this was one of the ground work videos I wanted to get out before my zero to hero play series.

hey Aisjam,
thx for your work. After fiddling around a few hours with Fills I tried the lazy way and bought a small soundpack from electronisounds that contained some Fills. I wandered why not all soundpacks had Fills integrated, just a few. After installation I got processor delays, then play freezes all the Time when trying to use any Fills. Could it be that play is unable to handle more Fills thx to the corona processor they built in? Did you or someone else got a bigger amount of new Fills to work in Play? Thx!
Michael

Fills shouldn’t cause the Play to freeze. Maybe a file got corrupted. I would email support about this but what I would do first is try redownloading in the factory content, and then deleting the current fills and putting the old ones back in.

Yeah the process is fiddly, Play wasn’t designed for users to make custom beat fills, but people wanted them so we shared how we make beat fills so you can make your own.

The manual explains the process of using beat fills, and that the 3 selected tracks fill in order from kick, snare to hat as Aisjam explains.

I can’t find a single reference to Play using a “Corona” processor. Where did you find this info?

HELP!
I created a few melody pattern for the Synths part. Only single track pattern.
Using the description I can create MelodyFills which I can use in other projects, fine.

The problem is that after doing the fill the „Sample“ which the has been assigned to the Track 1 (the one where I did the fill) is always Jack1.
If I use a built in fill or a commercially available one the track will always be switched to Synth2 and I can immediately hear a sound.
With my pattern (which I created on Track 1 with Synth2 assigned) I always have to manually select a Synth. I have to do this after EVERY new fill.

Anybody having an idea what I‘m doing wrong/missing here?
