Hang on: is there a midi thru box involved now?

As i mentioned in my first post, the Play doesn’t feature proper MIDI Thru, hence why i suggested a MIDI Thru Box.

Regarding implementation. This was requested 2 years ago, but back then declined by Poylend:

Enable MIDI Thru

Enable MIDI Thru on Polyend Play. What is the problem? MIDI thru is not a current capability on the Play. There are ways to pass through MIDI notes, but not other MIDI information such as clock. What do you want to achieve? Transmit MIDI information like clock through the Play to other devices connected to it. For instance, use a DAW as a clock source, but use Play as the sequencer to control an external device, while passing clock information as well. This would enable tempo-synced effects…

If you feel like you want to try it again, we can either open this request up again and see if this rqeuest garners enough votes/traction to make them reconsider it or you could start a new request specific for Poly Aftertouch passthrough.
