Mini dropping connection (and no audio coming through) when tracking stems into Bitwig

Hi all -

So with Sandroid’s help I managed to get my Mini multitracking out into Bitwig. It worked once… and since then, I cannot get it to work again.

It keeps dropping the audio connection (despite using the Polyend USB C lead, straight into my M1 iMac), and then even when the connection holds up, the audio is silent, despite all the inputs being set correctly etc.

Really baffling. I even downgraded the firmware back to the last stable one, but it made no odds.

Any ideas?

Question: have you tried a USB-C to USB-C cable?
With the mac i‘ve had better success with those, rather than the regular USB-A to USB-C cable.
