What is the problem?
I would like to see a “Master Tune” function in the Main Menu of the Polyend Synth (and every other device as well). Right now, I am detuning every single instrument by 50 cents to achieve the effect I’m looking for. A Master Tune function would save a lot of steps.
What should this feature achieve?
For those of us who want to expand our sonic palette and intentionally play/record ‘out of tune’, a Master Tune function would be very helpful. Something I used to do when composing music in the Vaporwave style was not only tune instruments down an octave, but I would also detune from 440 Hz to 427.5 Hz.
This makes a difference in the ‘vibe’ of the tracks, lending the sound of a slowed cassette, without actually slowing down the sound. There’s emotions to be wrung between the notes we use, whether our instruments are tuned to 440, 432, etc. Different tunings will create different outcomes.
Are there any workarounds?
Yes, detune your instruments using the Finetune control.

The DAW, Reason, had a master tune function which made this a lot easier.
