LFO and Envelope Insturment Automation for Grain Length when Using Granular Mode for Samples

What is the problem?

Currently, the Granular mode only has instrument automation for granular position.
It would be great to have instrument automation for the grain width as it would allow for some interesting roll type effects on percussive samples for some extra glitchy goodness. It would be nice to be able to stretch and shrink the grain length as needed.

What should this feature achieve?

In the instrument automation screen, along with “Granular Position” there would be a “Granular Width” section that would provide the same LFO and Envelope options as “Granular Position”

Are there any workarounds?

None that work exactly as an LFO or Envelope would. I have created multiples copies of samples and adjusted the grain width for each to get different grain widths and repeats, but this doesn’t allow for a smooth transition from fast to slow, or slow to fast.

I think what I’m suggesting is different. But if a grain length lfo and envelope were added, I think it would be obvious that altering with step fx would be a given.
