Polyend Synth fix out!
Hello, I don’t want to create a new post for this.
I have the yellow grid in chord mode, and the other ones in follower. The blue one is only one voice, and the purple an arpeggio. If I latch the purple and create a sequence, that sequence follows the yellow chords while I’m playing.
But the blue, that acts like a bass note tone, doesn’t change. I latch the note and it’s not changing, I play notes and not change while I’m playing the yellow chords… I don’t know what’s happening. I’m sure that there are two followers (blue and purple) and one chord but nothing works with the blue one.
Any ideas? Thanks!
As I understand the follow feature, it only follows to a new chord on the next note being triggered after the chord is changed.
You need to press/trigger the latched purple pad again in order to have it follow to the new chord.
The same actually goes for the arpegiator. If you set a very low rate on the purple arp and change the yellow chord in the middle of a note from the arp, you will hear that it continues playing that same note and only “update” the notes in the sequence to match the new chord when the next note is triggered.
I hope this makes sense
Thank you. If I understand correctly, it’s not the best way to do what I want to do.
I want to press a yellow pad to make a chord and at the same time trigger a low bass note on the blue pad. So if I understand correctly, I need to press first the chord and then the bass note. I would be perfect if the two would go in sync at the same time. Thanks!
Polyend synth makes a great midi controller :] controlling the korg minilogue xd here

Hello, Is it possible to layer 2 or 3 synths playing one single pad? It would be great to be able to do it. Thanks!
At the moment just via external MIDI controller, sorry! I agree this would be a cool feature.
Actually you could send midi notes from 1 grid to external midi router (Ableton, midipipe, or anything else) and send it back to Synth. Theoretically all 3 synths should play at the same time by pressing pads on 1 grid given all grids are set to the same midi channel. It would be also good to turn the local mode to off so that the input for the synth engine is not doubled.
Thanks both. My intention was to do it all into the box without anything external. Maybe we will see this in a future… Thanks.
New firmware out! :]
