The piano style 3 octave keyboard is a boon and attractive - I find single and even two octave keyboards can be tiresome. But would it be possible to create a keyboard using more rows? That would allow emulating the sort of note keys layout as used by some button accordions and concertinas - at first look they might seem crazy, but they can give patterns of scales that will be the same wherever they start, so if you have a melody (or chord) in mind, the pattern of playing will be the same in whatever key you want to play it. (It’s not unlike using the chromatic scale on the Synth but it is more usable.) They also could give a wide range of octaves.
I guess this would require the ability to hot switch to the default (or a other layout) to do other things when you don’t need to full keyboard created.
Oh yes! A mouse as expression controller is a great idea.
- That would open up Kaoss Pad like X + Y dual parameter dynamic contol.
- The mouse scroll-wheel could maybe map to raise/lower values on a chosen element.
IBM Thinkpad laptops have long featured a small red “nipple” in their “trackpoint” keyboard, which - when used with the clicky-buttons below the spacebar - becomes a mouse. Probably too late to think about this idea for the Polyend Keys.

Is there an 88 key version… with pitchbend? 
I think the idea is well placed… having a keyboard strip & knobs to use in my DAW would be really handy. But I have mechanical ergonomic keyboards already. Can you make just the two rows of keys and knobs + mini-screen? That’s the part I really NEED. It could also just be a mini MIDI keyboard that way and with a slimmer form strip–and with magnetic velocity & aftertouch availability, killer device.

Idea:
- Light up the keyboard to show notes in chosen scales.
- Use a special color to mark the root/octaves.
Pick E-flat Dorian, for example, and the keyboard immediately tells you where the seven scale tones are across all three octaves, with each E-flat visually identifiable.

I’ve been looking for this keyboard for years on my HTPC setup and it’s just never in stock anywhere, I’m convinced it’s AI lmao
I cycle between Push and made a Ulanzi Dial plugin to solve this issue: ULANZI ie. you don’t wanna take up space with push but miss some tactile control.

Can u put a few piezos under the top 2 rows on the underside of the PCB with rubber cones attached to base of case, this would allow velocity sensitivity. This is how the cheetah md-16 did it!
