Which preview video? The above video doesn’t mention MIDI. Hopefully the MIDI output is included for more than sync purposes.

Hard to say without looking at the production time and costs. I think everything is custom. Which is pricey.
Hello can you explain how does it work with the insert effects? Looking at videos from Superbooth, it seems that the insert effect eats into the track number, essentially if I want to use e.g. a bitcrusher as an insert, I will need to use 1 of the tracks, meaning the total number of drum synthtracks will be reduced to 7. Is that correct? Thank you for explanation. Petr
Hi @petr.stonis, welcome to backstage! 
- You can define two global effects, which the sends can be controlled per track.
- The insert effects, will only affect the neighbouring track, and indeed require you to sacrifice one track.

Well, seems to be a nice device. Still, the price is much more than I’d pay for any drum machine. I actually use drum machines only as MIDI-controllable drum patch memory.
And please don’t listen to these demos on your phone. It’s hitting hard on proper speakers!

Yeah, I think so, routing may not be written in stone, so I’d need to double check, but I believe routing goes instrument - send 1 - send 2 either in parallel or send 1 into send 2 with dB amount control > Insert Effect > Insert Effect.
I’ve watched a lot of videos but still have no idea if external instruments might be controllable via MIDI. I’ve seen some mention of sync, but nothing about MIDI sequencing of external equipment. I understand (and applaud) the decision to avoid diluting the machine’s identity by overstuffing it with groove box-style features, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it can’t sequence external gear. Nevertheless, I can’t help wondering (and hoping).

That is cool so we could potentially have a Mess on steroids with an 8 track effects chain. With less effects probably. Though it would be cool if you opened it up like you are with the Mess and Endless to let us decide.
