### Bug Description

Holding the menu button doesn’t bring up the menu screen when a midi note is ‘in view’.

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Start a new project
2. Place a midi note or synth note on row 1 of track 9
3. Make sure you’re in the pattern screen and then hit MORE to switch the quick buttons to Render/Invert/Duplicate etc (important)
4. Make sure the midi note you placed is in view but NOT selected.
5. Hold the Menu button down
6. Menu will be invisible (you can still navigate and select menu options as if they are there but the menu is not visible on screen
7. If you move the cursor to highlight the midi note or move the cursor so the midi note is off screen, the menu will come up normally when pressing and holding the menu button
8. Move the cursor to bring the note back on screen and the menu won’t appear again.
9. Hit the MORE button to make the function keys ‘Pattern Name / Track Name’
10. Holding Menu button will work again.

And for quick workaround for anyone getting annoyed by this like I was for months haha - just flip off the ‘Pattern Modification’ screen (Expand/Duplicate/Etc) and menu should popup again!

Nice catch. Especially finding out that the menu is still navigable, even if it’s hidden.

I am not sure your step to reproduce are universally correct:

- I can’t get it to trigger with a new project at all.
- But with the project I had open when I turned on my Mini, I could trigger the bug.
- Although it sometimes happens even when a synth step is highlighted.
- And also doesn’t happen with synth steps visible but not highlighted.
- I’m even able to trigger it without synth steps in view.

I’m on build 1153 as well.
