after years in elektron , eurorack, ae modular and so on i finally find in tracker plus what i needed.
Im here just to understand if im wrong or if this thing could be implemented somehow.
One of the most powerful things for how i perform is the fill function but i find very hard to improvise with that due to some limitations in the ui but correct me if im wrong in some workflow.
The thing that i could find useful is that when going from the perform page into the fill menu sometimes , selecting the full row to fill in record mode of course and having selected one of the rows which could be fx, note or instrument, i am returned with no fills added. For what i know this could be caused because im in the wrong row or i use settings which are ment to be used only with one of the things (es. note fill menus dont work on fx and vice versa) . It could be useful that when i select a note,fx,instrument etc. the fill menu displays or enlights just the functions i can use.
Hi Matti, i’m not sure if i understand you right but on my Tracker OG the fill behaviour is what i think you described how you want it to be. On the NOTE row you can choose between Scales and notes, on the INST row you can choose between Instruments and on the FX row you can choose between FX types and values. It depends on which row is highlighted in red.
sure. first i choose if i want to fill a row of notes or intruments or fx, then i choose the amount of steps by highlighting them with shift + arrow buttons. I then press fill and the fill menu pops up where i choose what i want the highligted steps to be filled with. After i have configured my choice i press fill and voilá every step is filled as i desired.
Well, thats what i do but when i am in the fill menu and i choose a different kind of modulation type macro like euclidian etc for example on fx it does notnfill anything most probably because the type i choose is not correct but i cant figure out which ones are the correct ones and which one the wrong ones
