Synth Firmware 1.3.1 is officially out of beta. 1.3.1 addresses an issue with slow patch scrolling on sample-based engines and the pitch of longer DWA samples.

**FIXES**

- Improved Patch Browsing of Sample-Based Synth Engines ([bug report](https://backstage.polyend.com/t/selecting-dwa-presets-is-extremely-laggy/21158))
- DWA Pitch stabilized on longer sample playback

Installation Guide

**INSTALLATION GUIDE**

1. Download and extract the [firmware file here](https://polyend.com/downloads/synth-downloads/)
2. Copy the .psf firmware file to your Synth SD card → Firmware folder
3. Best Practice: save your current scene to avoid any potential data lost
4.On the Synth menu navigate to Main Menu → System Settings → Firmware → Update Firmware → .psf file
5. Click the encoder and confirm with Yes
6. After the update, create a new scene to initialize the config settings

Woohoo. The Synth is absolutely the greatest piece of gear I’ve ever purchased, and I’ve spent WAY to much on gear. It even replaces my old Yamaha AN200 that I love. I use it on almost everything I do. I constantly tell people it would be great for actually teaching a synthesizer class because there are so many synths built into this thing. My ONLY complaint is it should have had a faster processor. I feel like a machine shouldn’t be maxing out on CPU within the given parameters (i.e. 8 voices, exceptions given for some synths of course). I plan on going live with this thing.
