What is the problem?
Currently the Tracker emits MIDI notes by pressing the pads when selected a MIDI instrument and transport CC from the [Play] key. It is no possible to receive MIDI from the other keys, for example, the jog wheel or the 8 config keys at the bottom the the screen.
What should this feature achieve?
Add to the tracker to a “MIDI Controller Mode”, where it turns off the screen and sends MIDI CCs from all keys and the jog wheel -not only from pads and the play key-. The idea is to allow the Tracker to be used as a MIDI controller, taking advantage of its physical keys.
Maybe leave out the navigation keys (Perform/File/Config… those can be used to get out of the MIDI controller mode)
