# Accidental overwrite of a supplied scene

Hi There.

stupidly overwrote a scene. when trying to save a new one. Is there a way to restore it. I can see the original one in the file directory but can get the viewer to point at it when using the synth. (on 2.0).

Hey @rubycon55, to make sure you definitely are back on the original, you could always download the original factory content from the [downloads section](https://polyend.com/downloads/synth-downloads/) on the polyend website.

oh you can. but you still need the orignal / unmodified scene file from downloaded content 😉. And if you overwrote the patches, you’ll need those too.
